The main themes found were the glorification of weight loss, positioning food to achieve health and thinness, lack of expert voices providing nutrition information, and a predominance of white female adolescents/young adults creating posts. The majority of posts presented a weight-normative view which may contribute to disordered eating behaviors and body dissatisfaction in the young people using the platform.
