VideoRev, or VidoRev, is a theme for WordPress release in 2018 by ‘beeteam368’ on Themeforest. The theme is built for podcasts and video-related organizations and is very video-focused.
VidoRev is a good theme for video-oriented websites and might just be right for you.
Some things we can appreciate about the VideoRev theme:
- It has a really cool video player skin, which is honestly pretty impressive from a theme at this price.
- It has valid AMP pages for a variety of post types, so it’s probably good for editorial SEO.
- It’s moderately well-maintained.
- It supports WooCommerce, and some social media plugins for WordPress like Buddypress.
- The theme has built-in support for Elementor/Elementor Pro.
Some things we don’t like about this theme:
- It feels a little sluggish to use, both from Admin and on the frontend.
- It can be difficult to customize theme templates if you’re not really fresh on php.
- It’s kind-of a one-size-fits-all approach to video websites.
- It lacks support for headless and some cache options don’t work well.
- Support is grouchy and a bit unprofessional – feels very self-service, but is complicated to use.
