We lost our custom fonts after latest Theme X and Cornerstone updates
Q:
Our website built with Cornerstone and Theme X was recently updated to the new Cornerstone version, but now our custom fonts have disappeared and aren’t displaying correctly.
Issue
A client has upgraded their WordPress site to Theme X 10.0.2 (latest version) and Cornerstone 7.0.2 (latest version), and they have lost their custom fonts. Heading, body text, and button text are not appearing the same as they were before the updates.
Possible solution
We are actively working with ThemeCo to patch this issue with your theme options data in the latest Cornerstone update.
In the meantime, the easiest workaround is to simply revert the plugin back to your previous version (roll back), OR revert to a recent auto-backup and you should find the custom fonts will work again. This is not a long-term solution to this issue, but should help you regain your custom fonts immediately.
If you need help rolling back, or simply want support to do that for you, please submit a request through your portal or email/text your account manager.
This issue has now been reported on Theme X versions 10.0.2-10.0.7, as of this update on March 1, 2023.
